Assistant Management Accountant

Reed Accountancy are pleased to be working with one of the country’s leading technology and electronics suppliers on an exciting position with their Accounts team!

Based in Bolton, my client has an opening within their accountancy department for an Assistant Management Accountant on a 12-month contract basis.

Benefits:

• Salary - £25,000 to £30,000 dependant on experience
• Hours – Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break
• Holidays – 22 days per annum plus bank holidays

Responsibilities:

• Prepayments & Accruals
• Bank reconciliations
• Assisting the Finance Manager with month end accounts
• Maintaining fixed asset register
• Credit Control (chasing outstanding debts, setting up new accounts & sending customer statements)

Specification:

• Previous experience using Sage.
• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisational skills.
• MS Excel / Word at intermediate level
• Able to work effectively on own initiative with little supervision.
