Assistant Management Accountant

Page Personnel are partnering with a business who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their accountancy team on a full time permanent basis.

Our client is a successful business that have seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Southampton and do require travel to their offices.

Description

As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of the management accounts in coordination with the Group Financial Controller.
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Analysis of variances
• Assist with preparation of Forecasts.
• Preparation of daily and weekly business reporting
• Reconciliation and analysis of Fixed and Intangible assets.
• Cover for and assist the Purchase Ledger clerk as and when required.
• Any other duties as designated.

Profile

To be successful for the Assistant Management Accountant position, you must:

• Part qualified or keen to progress with accountancy studies.
• Advanced Excel skills in order to analyse and present financial data to assist decisions across the business. Power BI would be an advantage but not essential.
• Organised, analytical and with good attention to detail.
• SAP an advantage.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Job Offer

Salary £35,000 - £45,000
