Assistant Management Accountant

Accountancy Recruit is exclusively partnering a client in Trafford Park to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. Our client is a growing, owner managed business with an inclusive culture and supportive team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Assistant Management Accountant will support the month end process producing monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and other month end duties. This role would suit a part qualified Management Accountant or someone qualified by experience, an Assistant Management Accountant working towards or able to manage month end with minimal supervision. The Assistant Management Accountant will have the following responsibilities:

• Month end routine and monthly management accounts production.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Management and administration of invoice financing facility.
• Overseeing administration of the payroll process partnering HR and external 3rd party payroll provider.
• Job and project costing and profitability analysis.
• Support the Financial Controller with ad hoc projects as required.

To be successful in this role the Assistant Management Accountant will have the following experience:

• Relevant experience as a Management Accountant - QBE or part qualified.
• Experience of using Xero beneficial.
• Strong systems experience including MS Office.
• Good Excel skills - pivots, lookups and data manipulation.

The salary advertised for this role is a guideline and the salary offered will be commensurate with experience.
