Assistant Management Accountant - Hybrid

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Assistant Management Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing finances, ensuring financial compliance, and contributing to the company's financial planning and analysis.

Description

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Contributing to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Ensuring financial compliance by keeping abreast of regulatory changes
• Supporting the wider Accounting & Finance team with ad-hoc financial analysis
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations
• Participating in internal and external audits
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Assisting with the improvement of accounting systems and processes Profile A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
• Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Prior experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
