Location: Hybrid – 2 days in the office (Wilmslow), 3 days in the office
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Per Annum

The role
Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
• Involvement in month-end results preparation for 2 companies including month-end files, journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and commentary.
• Weekly bank reconciliations and preparation of cashflow analysis.
• Assist with the production of cost centre reporting packs and variance analysis for the business.
• Engage in annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow projections.
• Reconcile credit card spend.
• Purchase ledger management.
• PSA annual workings and preparation.
• Preparation of the quarterly VAT return.
• Bi-annual payment practices reporting.
• Assisting with the annual audit process.
• Support the Finance Manager with insightful reporting and ad-hoc analyses.
About you:
• Committed to a career in finance and in the initial stages of CIMA/ACCA or looking to begin studies immediately
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong work ethic with a ‘Can do’ attitude
• Able to generate and maintain solid working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
