We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated Assistant Manager to support our HVAC Manager. This role is ideal for someone who excels in multitasking, problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and ability to interpret project requirements will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our operations.
Day to Day of the role:- Analyse project plans, specifications, and documentation to prepare cost tenders and quotations.
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and gather information for estimates.
- Review and analyse subcontractor bids and proposals.
- Assist in managing project coordination, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.
- Update project drawings in AutoCAD and create As Fitted drawings for completion manuals.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports, including cost estimates and progress updates.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Driving Licence (Required).
- C&G F-Gas 2079-11 Level 2 (Preferred but not essential).
- CSCS/Skill Card (Preferred but can be gained).
- Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
- Knowledge of Air Conditioning Systems and Ventilation systems.
- Excellent communication skills and client awareness.
- Project Management experience.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
