As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Managers, Directors, and Partners in delivering outstanding client service. This client-facing role encompasses a wide range of assignments, including business advisory, public sector consultancy, and forensic investigations. You will apply your technical knowledge to deliver assignments from planning to completion, manage team workflow, and build strong professional relationships.

What you will do:


  • Client Advisory and Value Addition:
    • Develop investor decks, business cases, and financial projections for both private and public sector clients.
    • Review business plans and financial statements, analyse underlying assumptions and financial data, and prepare insightful reports.

  • M&A and Business Development:
    • Identify potential M&A targets and buyers through independent desktop reviews and team collaboration.
    • Assist in business valuations by researching comparable transactions and quoted companies.
    • Support Managers/Senior Managers in coordinating deal initiation and business development activities.

  • Due Diligence and Forensic Investigations:
    • Participate in due diligence fieldwork and prepare comprehensive due diligence reports.
    • Conduct forensic investigations and prepare reports for court presentations.

  • Client Liaison and Relationship Management:
    • Liaise with clients, law firms, banks, equity providers, vendors, and purchasers to facilitate Corporate Finance transactions.
    • Leverage your business network to support the firm’s growth initiatives.

Professional Qualifications and Education:

  • A professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), either newly qualified or part-qualified.
  • An undergraduate degree or above in any subject with a minimum classification of 2:1.
  • Higher Grade/A Level or equivalent qualifications.
