Assistant Manager

THE VICTORIA in East London is looking for a ASSISTANT MANAGER to join our team.

The Victoria- Mile End is a fish led local pub/restaurant in the heart of East London, we have a strong focus on fresh, creative cooking and personality focussed service.

• We are an independent business with a small, but experienced team who have been working together for a long time. So you will have lots support and experience surrounding you.
• Our focus is on serving the best fish & shellfish that we can source from our suppliers across Britain.
• This means that we can always have a fresh and seasonal menu, that is constantly changing, but never to big.
• We have a strong bar team, who make some pretty awesome cocktails, these are kept as seasonal as the food menu.
• We are looking for that person who can drive the team forward with energy and creativity.
• We have a positive working environment, this is infectious and something that is at he core of our values.
• You will be working with the owner of the business and general manager on a day to day basis.
• No one works more that 45 hours. We want you to be fresh and look forward to coming to work.

The Successful Assistant Managerwill;

·Have previous management experience in a busy, food led environment.

·Have the ability to deliver high standards consistently

·Have great communication and organising skills

·Have the ability to closely work with the management team

·Have high standards of health and hygiene

·Be passionate and enthusiastic about their job

·Be a great team player

Pay: £17.00-£18.50 per hour
