The City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Waste Operations Manager to join their dynamic and hardworking Waste & Recycling team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead large multi-disciplinary teams in a waste collection and disposal environment
- Hold a valid full HGV Class 2 driving licence
- Hold CoTC (WAMITAB) level 4 qualification
- Possess ILM Level 5 Leadership/Management certification
- Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure excellent standards are consistently met
- Manage and mitigate risks in a waste collection setting
- Demonstrate and promote outstanding customer care
- Support our client's commitment towards waste minimisation and improved recycling opportunities
- Undertake duties covering domestic, special, and commercial waste collections
