Assistant Marketing & Insights Manager
Haddenham, Buckinghamshire

Working model - hybrid

At McCormick, the home of the Schwartz, Frank’s Red Hot and Cholula brands, we manufacture, market, and distribute spices, seasoning mixes, condiments, and other flavourful products.

We are growing and are currently looking for Marketing & Insights Manager based in our EMEA Headquarter. This role will be responsible for supporting the EMEA Senior Consumer Insights Manager to deliver actionable consumer & category insights to drive the NPD pipeline for key B2B Food & Beverage customers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Marketing & Insights team to understand & anticipate consumer, market & category trends for food & flavour, leveraging akey agency partners.
- Collate insights & trends from desk research, competitor analysis, menu analysis etc. into digestible & engaging formats
- Turn analysis into actionable insight with relevant recommendations on NPDs and white-space flavour opportunities for key B2B customers
- Manage relationships with agency partners and proactively review new partner opportunities
- Conduct bespoke consumer insight projects, including building surveys & analysing results

Support Flavour Solutions B2B customer engagement across Quick-Service Restaurants, Custom Flavour Solutions & Flavours in EMEA.
- Work closely with R&D and Commercial teams to support customer briefs by supplying relevant insights & flavour recommendations
- Deliver proactive insights presentations, innovation sessions, food safaris etc. to drive customer intimacy

Support in driving the B2B digital communication plan.
- Develop proactive insights content to be shared on Flavour Solutions websites, social media and via customer newsletters
- Work with creative agencies on developing Flavour toolkits and other sales materials to drive new business wins

Manage daily activities of assigned projects.
- Review deliverables prior to presentation to the customer and apply our capabilities to assigned projects with maximum cost effectiveness and highest return on investment.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
• BSc degree in Marketing, Market Research, Data Analytics, Social Studies, or Psychology.
• Experience in market research methodologies.
• Exceptional presentations skills particularly in front of customers.
• Previous working experience in a regional (EMEA) or UK market insights/ FMCG market research / research agency role, with frequent contacts with Marketing & Innovation.
• Past B2B customer-facing experience required.
• Ability to think strategically and innovatively.
• Good understanding of FMCG and/or QSR plus general consumer trends & market drivers
• Knowledge of multiple market data source providers and research agencies.
• Strong customer management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
