TITLE: Assistant Operations Manager – Quarry & Aggregates Recycling
SALARY: £45,000 plus 9% Employer 0% Employee pension, Discretionary Bonuses & Benefits
LOCATION: Wellingborough
HOURS: 0700-1700 Monday to Friday and 0700-1200 on a Saturday
YOU WILL HAVE WORKED IN A HEAVY INDUSTRIAL PROCESS SUCH AS: Quarry, Mining, Asphalt, Aggregates, Skip Hire, Biomass, Metal Recycling, Waste Management, Wood Recycling, In Vessel Composting, Crushing, Screening etc. MRF, MBT, Minerals Extraction or similar with heavy Static and Mobile Plant Equipment in Operation.

ROLE: Assistant Operations Manager – Quarry & Aggregates Recycling
You will oversee staff working on an Aggregates Recycling process and monitor their individual progress
Resource management and planning, making sure equipment is maintained and fit for use
You will drive performance vs KPI’s, look to improve performance and look to reduce costs
You will ensure the team is compliant with safely, quality and environmental processes
You will chip in in a hands on capacity if required
EXPERIENCE: Assistant Operations Manager – Quarry & Aggregates Recycling
You will be an experienced Manager or Supervisor
You will have worked in a heavy industrial process such as: Quarry, Mining, Asphalt, Aggregates, Skip Hire, Biomass, Metal Recycling, Waste Management, Wood Recycling, In Vessel Composting, Crushing, Screening etc. MRF, MBT, Minerals Extraction or similar with heavy Static and Mobile Plant Equipment in Operation.
Ideally you will have a licence for a Loading Shovel, Excavator or Telehandler or experience operating one of the 3
Any Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Welding or Fabrication or other Practical skills such as Vehicle Maintenance would be welcome.
