As an Operations Manager, you play a crucial part in ensuring the safe execution of all operational aspects during events. Whether you are working independently or as part of a larger operational management team for significant deployments, your focus is on planning and delivering essential event services on the day. This involves effectively communicating information to frontline staff and on-site operational teams, ensuring their full understanding and compliance with statutory and company policies. You will prioritise delivering excellent customer service by meticulously planning and providing comprehensive staff training to enhance the experience for visitors, customers, external agencies, and internal stakeholders. Furthermore, you will actively work to build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and key operational contacts, ensuring their expectations of the company's services are consistently met.
Hours of Work: 35 hour working week - working 5 days out of 7, as required operationally
Assistant Operations Manager Requirements:
* You will have previous experience of effective team management delivered through a casual / zero hours workforce
* Operational / facilities management experience in providing multiple services, ideally within the events industry
* Successful supervision of multiple services and small teams
* Excellent time management skills
* The ability to prioritise, be proactive, take the initiative and work to deadlines
Assistant Operations Manager Benefits:
* �28,000 - �30,000, depending on experience
* Potential to develop to become an Operations Manager within 18 - 24 months
* Enrolment onto an 18-month Level 3 Management Development programme
