Job Title:          Assistant Pastoral Manager

Location:         Belmont Secondary School, Rawtenstall

Salary:             up to £24,000 per annum depending on experience

Hours:              37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract:          Permanent; term time only

Must be UK based.

Due to growth in service, we ae recruiting for an Assistant Pastoral Manager to join our amazing team at Belmont Secondary located in Rawtenstall.

Job Purpose

The successful applicant will assist the Pastoral Manager and SLT in developing the school as a high-quality specialist provision for pupils. Uphold the ethos, aims and values of the school, its policies, and codes of practice at all times. Help manage the structure and organisation of the school day and carry out the agreed specific duties of the Assistant Pastoral Manager.

Essential

  • GCSE or equivalent lever to a grade C (4) in English and Maths.
  • Relevant experience of working within a school setting in the secondary age range.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Behaviour for Learning.
  • Confident use of ICT communication skills
  • Confident in report writing
  • Knowledge and understanding of data analysis and the ability to use data to set targets for improvement
  • Confident in whole school self-valuation
  • Safeguarding of pupils
