Job Role: Assistant Payroll Manager
Salary: up to £36K
Location: Cheshire
JGA are working with well known accountancy firm is currently seeking an Assistant Payroll Manager to join their team in Cheshire!
Duties:
* Manage your own portfolio of client payrolls.
* Work closely with the Payroll Manager to service multiple clients.
* Process payrolls from start to finish, including auto-enrolment.
* Assist with the training and development of team members.
* Build strong rapport with clients.
* Stay up-to-date with legislation, ensuring all work is in compliance, and keep the team informed.
* Maintain strong relationships through communication with colleagues, clients, HMRC, and other third-party providers.
Skills:
* Previous experience in processing client payroll.
* Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge.
* Ideally, have supervisory experience.
* CIPP qualified or equivalent.
* Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation, processing, and Auto Enrolment regulations.
* Previous experience with Sage 50cloud payroll software or Bright Pay is preferred. #
