We are looking for a Assistant Planner to join our Buildings Planning team in Tewkesbury. The Assistant Planner will assist with developing , maintaining and updating the project programme to produce an accurate programme that manages time risk and that the project team and customer can trust. Work closely with the site team and our suppliers to monitor progress and outputs
What you'll do:
- Assist with maintain and updating the project programme, help prepare programme submission documents and internal reporting.
- Work with project team and suppliers to produce, challenge and maintain collaborative short term programmes that align with the main programme.
- Ensure that the lookahead / supplier programmes are accurate. Monitor supplier KPI's.
- Lead collaborative planning and short-term programme sessions.
- Construction experience and technical understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques and best practices.
- Experience of developing short term programmes for a section of works.
- Understanding of the time impact of typical construction risks and opportunities.
- Understanding of the construction market, methods of construction, plant, equipment and labour requirements
