The successful candidate will work closely with my clients' stakeholders including the in-house designers to produce proposals, and proactively engaging with local authority case officers to ensure you drive forward decision making.

Duties of the role:
- Provide high quality advice to the in-house designers and architects to ensure that development meets local and national policies and guidance.
- Provide advice to the in-house consultants regarding early project feasibility and risks.
- Act as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, triaging communication and allocating actions, as necessary.
- Identify ways to improve engagement and relationships with Local Planning Authorities.
Candidate Requirements
- RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or a related field of study.
- Previous experience ideally within the public sector.
- Very good understanding of the UK Planning System, in particular Permitted Development Rights and Householder applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
