Undertake appointments with children, young people and parents offering support and guidance e.g. 1-1 work, group work, check in calls and assisting in duty/ward assessments. To manage and organise own diary on a daily basis for initial and follow up appointments following delegation by Senior/ CAMHS Practitioner /Medical staff for those families with planned packages of care. To carry out specified interventions as planned and discussed with the Senior/ CAMHS Practitioner/Medical staff and at times dealing with emotional and distressing circumstances. Mental Effort The post holder may be required to support anxious or distressed children, young people or carers and may be subject to challenging behaviour. Working Conditions The post holder will be required to have IT skills and will spend approximately 10% of the time at a computer.
