The successful candidate will form part of a highly motivated and committed team dealing with informal and formal challenges against Penalty Charge Notices and the processing of Parking Permits. The post is a full time, permanent position at scale 4.
Responsibilities
- To respond to customer telephone and e-mail queries providing appropriate advice and information.
- To process permit applications ensuring all permits are produced in accordance with the relevant Council policies.
- To assist in the dealing with challenges to Penalty Charge Notices in accordance with legislation and guidelines.
- Process parking suspensions and dispensations in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Process payments for both Penalty Charge Notices and Permits applications
- To provide general office administration.
Skills
- Excellent customer care and team working.
- Experience of working in a frontline customer service role.
- The ability to communicate through all mediums in a concise and accurate way.
- Good IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
- Create positive working relationships with others.
Experience of working in the Car Parking industry would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
