Assistant Producer Intern

In partnership with Creative Access, MAYK are looking for an Assistant Producer Intern to join our team in March! As a part-time Assistant Producer Intern, you will be contributing to Mayfest 2024; Bristol's biennial festival of contemporary theatre, curated and produced by MAYK.

Things you'll be doing may include working with the Senior Producer on plans for Front of House, event management, ensuring everyone working on a project has the right information to do their jobs well, doing research, helping with marketing and communications, and joining in with and taking notes at meetings.

You'll also get an insight into MAYK's other projects and work through being part of a small team over a concentrated period of time. This opportunity aims to be a rounded, useful experience which will inform your future career, within a positive working environment that is open and communicative. MAYK will be sensitive in who they ask you to work with and aware that they don't want to drop you in the deep end!

Bursary: National Living Wage equivalent (£12 an hour)

Duration: 6 months

Working hours: 24 hours - part-time for 3 days per week
