Main Purpose of Role
To assist with the producing of our Creative Programme including; participation and engagement projects and the delivery of our creative events and shows in community settings.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To provide producing support to artists and Creative Scene team members as required in the lead in and during Creative Scene programming activity.
- To assist with administration of projects and research as required.
- Organise and book suitable venues.
- Ensure all materials are prepared.
- To be a friendly and supportive person in the space, welcome people, to get involved and act as an advocate for the Creative Scene programme.
- To assist with the running of workshop and events in community settings including setting up and packing down of resources.
- To assist with the collection of data and evaluation as required by Arts Council England and/or other funding bodies.
- To help to maintain good community relationships and support the development of strong networks across Kirklees.
- To provide support to the Creative Scene Administration and Finance Manager as required.
- Driving support if required.
General
- Commitment to Creative Scene Vision, Values and Goals.
- Represent Creative Scene at external events and meetings as appropriate, including regular local and regional networks.
- Attend Programme Team meetings and contribute to discussions on the Creative Scene programme.
- Abide by Creative Scenes policies on Safeguarding, Equal Opportunities, Volunteering, Health and Safety, Evaluation and Monitoring.
- Ensure adherence to the General Data Protection Regulation and related internal policies and guidelines, in relation to the collection, storage and use of personal data.
- Any other duties that are commensurate with the post.
