Effective communication and coordination skills will be needed as you’ll be liaising with various internal stakeholders including Purchasing, Goods Inspection, and the Warehouse team.
The Assistant Production Planner will:
- Review and release daily job confirmations and identify any shortages to ensure, where possible, jobs are production ready.
- Update and review sales, engineering and project orders, and consignment stock orders weekly.
- Report and expedite any material shortages impacting production schedules and escalate promptly to relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Purchasing team to enable reporting to relevant stakeholders on any supplier shortages and/or quality issues that may impact production schedules.
- Liaise with the Incoming Goods Inspection teams to progress goods through inspection.
- Monitor picklist sequence report, targeting required kits especially related to sales orders, ahead of build requirement date.
- Liaise with the Warehouse team to communicate and expedite any changes in schedule to picklists.
