SalaryPertemps Crawley are working on behalf a dynamic and innovative manufacturer committed to delivering exceptional products and service, looking for a Master Scheduler to join our team. As a Master Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in planning, organising and tracking of the manufacturing process, being a pivotal part of continued company success and growth.
The Role:
- Full ownership of MRP system
- Provide forecasting and accurate delivery dates to the sales team
- Create/communicate manufacturing plans
- Release works orders in accordance with plans created
- Track purchasing, materials and production schedules and works in progress against projected timelines
- Developing MRP system based and implement a culture of create continuous improvement
- Work with Engineering and Sales teams to develop strategy, routings and interdepartmental processes, implementing best practices to enhance overall efficiency
- Track and analyse key performance indicators to measure the progress of schedules and improvements.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on key measures
- Proven experience with MRP systems
- Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Strong MS Office Experience and Skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- APICS Qualification (Desirable)
- Basic VBA and other coding (Desirable)
Salary of up to £55,000 (dependent on relevant experience), working hours of Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5 and 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
