The School of Education seeks to appoint an academic to support the delivery of our undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes. We invite applications from candidates with an emerging research profile in the broad fields of Education, and we particularly welcome applications from those who have an additional focus in International and Intercultural Communication and Education. Their activity should be aligned to the School’s areas of research activity. Successful applicants will be expected to actively contribute to one or more of the School’s Thematic Research Clusters. Our current portfolio of teaching ranges from undergraduate programmes (a BA in Education Studies and a BA in Primary Education), through Postgraduate Taught Masters pathways (from MA Education to MA Research Methods) to Postgraduate Research. Overall, we are ranked 5th in the Complete University Guide, and have a top 100 ranking in both the QS and THE 2023 World University Rankings by subject.
