Faculty/Directorate
You will join a truly innovative School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, with a suite of postgraduate programmes, a fully integrated MPharm based on Team-Based Learning (TBL) and excellence in research.
What you will be doing:
- There are two roles, one with a focus on undergraduate (MPharm) pharmacy teaching and the other on postgraduate pharmacy teaching (MSc/PG Diploma Foundation Pharmacy Practice).
- You will develop and deliver teaching and assessment to undergraduate (MPharm) and postgraduate pharmacy students (MSc/PG Diploma Foundation Pharmacy Practice), using Team-Based Learning (TBL).
- For the postgraduate role this will include module leadership and the organization of study days
- For the undergraduate role this will include teaching calculations
Qualifications/ experience:
- MPharm degree (or equivalent)
- Registration with the UK General Pharmaceutical Council
- Postgraduate qualifications e.g Postgraduate Diploma OR significant professional experience as a pharmacist working in a variety of clinical settings
- Member of Advanced HE or commitment to achieving appropriate level of membership
- A level of English equivalent to level C1 on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)
- Independent Prescribing qualification is an advantage
