Job description

Sewell Wallis are thrilled to be working with a dynamic, global business who are looking to welcome an Assistant Project Accountant to their team. This position will play a crucial role in enhancing controls and compliance across multiple finance teams. You will be working with multiple overseas entities and multiple reports, therefore the right candidate will be meticulous and driven, with strong communication. This is a varied and interesting role, giving you freedom over managing your work and collaborating with multiple different teams.

Assistant Project accountant duties:

  • Monitor statutory compliance across international offices, proactively highlighting any concerns.
  • Collaborate with the Project Accountant to reconcile group and local reports, including strong analysis.
  • Producing reports using IFRS and GAAP.
  • Assist local finance teams with their year-end submissions.
  • Support the external audit process and engage with auditors as needed.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects, supporting both Group finance and local finance teams.

The ideal candidate:

  • Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
  • Proactive attitude and self-motivated.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
