We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join us in Major Projects in the Regeneration and Strategy Directorate. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we transform Calderdale through an unprecedented level of investment. Join us and be part of Calderdale’s next chapter.
You will play a key part in the delivery of capital projects within the Major Projects Service at Calderdale Council that stimulate regeneration and economic growth across the borough and wider West Yorkshire region.
We have the following opportunity:
Assistant Project Manager (Schools Capital Team)
Projects include:
Basic Need
Delivering mainstream and SEND projects to meet demands for pupil places across the borough.
Asset Management
Capital maintenance and replacement projects of Council maintained schools, ensuring buildings are safe for its staff, pupils and visitors.
School Rebuilding Programme
The rebuilding or refurbishing of eleven schools across Calderdale, providing brand-new facilities to create a 21st century learning environment.
Local Plan
Two new primary schools to serve as the hub for new garden communities as identified in Calderdale’s Local Plan.
