Assistant Property Manager

A high end property consultancy located in North West London are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join their growing team. This position will provide vital support to the Senior Property Manager in the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential blocks.
The successful candidate will benefit from working in a close-knit team which offer training and career prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
-Liaise with resident directors, lessees, residents, contractors and other stakeholders in a timely and courteous manner.
-Instruct appropriate contractors for repair and maintenance works, adhering to Landlord & Tenant Act procedures, including section 20 procedures.
-Manage insurance claims and associated works, liaising with loss adjusters and other parties as necessary.
-Shadow the Senior Property Manager and attend residents' meetings and AGMs
-Assist external firms of chartered surveyors with the preparation of specifications for major works, obtaining competitive tenders, and advising resident directors.
-Handle health and safety requirements for the blocks, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations, fire door inspections, etc.
-Manage day-to-day block management tasks, including addressing leaks, parking issues, bin collection, etc.
Key skills:
-Relevant property management experience.
-Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proactive attitude and a positive 'can-do' approach.
