Psychological therapy is central to our teams and how we help people, offering various therapeutic models, in individual and group formats. We are also proud to offer an early intervention FREED pathway, as well as support for carers and loved ones.
We value inclusivity and accessibility. We are proud to offer services to people who experience a variety of Eating Disorders, and believe that people of any background can be impacted by one. As such, we offer individualised treatment, which places the person at the heart of it. Both services have ongoing community projects which are aimed at increasing our accessibility, particularly for underrepresented and marginalised groups.
As part of your application, please start your supporting statement by explaining what motivates you to work with people who experience Eating Disorders.
These roles will form an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, and will include supporting the delivery of our FREED early intervention pathway, co-facilitating psychological therapy groups, delivery of guided self-help interventions, and supporting the coordination and input of data collection across the service.
Professional or personal experience of Eating Disorders is desirable, but not essential, and training and support will be provided. The successful candidate will be supervised by a clinical psychologist.
