Job Title:Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and cost estimates
- Liaise with contractors and subcontractors to obtain quotes and negotiate prices
- Monitor project progress and financial performance, providing regular updates to the Quantity Surveyor
- Prepare and submit progress payment applications and final accounts
- Assist in the settlement of disputes and variations that may arise during the project
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to costs, contracts, and payments
- Provide support to the Quantity Surveyor in all aspects of the surveying process
Qualifications:
- Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or engineering industry
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant surveying software
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
