We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join our team for a client in Dorset. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in managing costs, contracts, and financial aspects of the project.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and other project expenses.
- Administer contracts, including variations, claims, and payments.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost efficiency.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with the project.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.

- Relevant degree or professional accreditation
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to numbers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be available to start at the end of January.
