Are you an experienced Hotel receptionist looking to progress your career and take a step into management? My client is a well-known 4star hotel based in Daventry who are looking for a passionate and dedicated receptionist to join as their Assistant Receptionist manager, assisting the Front Office manager, and taking ownership of the department.
As the Assistant Receptionist, you will be tasked with:
- Promoting a positive environment to lift team morale.
- Training colleagues in multiple skills, ensuring guests receive the best possible service.
- Ensuring colleagues are aware of each day’s business, e.g. VIPS, Special requirements.
- Liaising with other departments of the hotel to allow for a smooth operation.
- Motivating your team and delegating task effectively.
The ideal Assistant Reception Manager will:
- Be an experienced Hotel receptionist, having ideally worked in a supervisory position.
- Have a good knowledge of using the Opera operating system.
- Be able to build strong rapport with colleagues and guests.
- Possess a strong knowledge of the Hotel sector.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.

Job-type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: up to £27000 per annum, overtime paid by the hour.
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 40hours, 5/7 days
