Assistant Research Accountant (Multiple Posts)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our University’s Research & Innovation department at the Jubilee Campus, Nottingham. We are a research-driven institution with a leading international profile. Our Research & Innovation department provides support, advice, and guidance to the University’s research community. This post sits within the Post Award team, within Research Operations. Reporting to an Assistant Manager, you will work as part of a busy team providing Post Award financial administration of externally funded research projects, ensuring compliance with University regulations and funder requirements.    You will be responsible for a portfolio of research awards and grants for a particular Faculty, to provide strategic financial advice and management information to Principal Investigators (PIs) in the management of their awards and contracts. This includes the provision of accounting, financial management and financial reporting services and ensuring compliance with funder terms and conditions. The successful candidate should be educated to HNC/HND level (or equivalent) or hold current membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians or have relevant financial experience or research admin experience showing clear professional development.
