Job description
The post holder is responsible for the leadership, management and day-to-day running of the Risk Management Department. The post holder is responsible for the development, maintenance and promotion of procedures and processes necessary to manage risk to improve quality & safety. These procedures and processes will include a system for effectively managing risks through review of relevant assurance sources such as Incident reviews, Serious Adverse Incident reports and M&M outcomes to inform the drivers for quality and safety improvement and give assurance that this improvement is taking place..

A university degree or relevant professional qualification and worked for at least 2 years, in the last 5, in a middle management role in a complex organisation OR Have worked at a middle management role or equivalent for at least 3 yearsDelivered against challenging performance management programmes for a minimum of 2 years, in the last 5, meeting key targets and making significant improvements within an administration environment.Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car is essential. , Experience using DATIX or similar systems in relation to incident reporting and risk management.
