We are now looking for an Assistant Service Department Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis.

Your Role:
As an Assistant Service Department Administrator, you will support all activities within our Service Department, from liaising with customers to dealing with suppliers and handling billing.
Specifically, reporting to and working directly with the Service Department Co-ordinator, you will organise calibration and/or repair of customer’s test equipment, generate quotes and provide replacements or spare parts.
You will work with our suppliers and manufacturers regarding customers’ equipment, book equipment in and out and work with internal departments such as Accounts, Sales and the Warehouse.
Additionally, your role will involve:
- Answering all service calls and emails from customers, third party suppliers and manufacturers
- Learning to identify and gain a basic understanding of the equipment received into the Service Department on a daily basis
- Working with the Warehouse team to make sure customers equipment is returned safely and efficiently
- Conducting general ad hoc administrative tasks
About You:
To be considered for the role of Assistant Service Department Administrator, you will need:
- At least one year of previous admin and customer service experience
- Computer and database proficiency, including Word and Excel
- The ability to work under pressure
- Close attention to detail
- Excellent communication and listening skills as well as a professional telephone manner
- The ability to work using your own initiative whilst being an efficient and supportive team player
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, 8.30am – 5pm.
