Assistant Service Manager Required in Sevenoaks, East Sussex

• Basic Salary Circa £40,000 +
• Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:30

Our client is an independent family run team. They are looking to do things differently within the automotive trade and create an environment where people want to come to work for them. They have experience within the automotive industry for many years and wants to break away from the mould of being treated like a number on a spreadsheet.
They are seeking a senior aftersales professional, to join them on their journey as they grow their business. They have built a loyal customer base working on all makes and models of vehicles within the Tonbridge & Sevenoaks areas.

Duties of an Assistant Service Manager with our Client:

• To handle customer enquiries and queries promptly and efficiently.
• Qualify service needs and diagnose vehicle running problems where appropriate.
• Establish understanding and an agreement with the customer of the work to be carried out.
• Accurately maintain the service department loading system in line with workshop capacity.
• Manage the handover and administration of loan vehicles. 
• Explain the work carried out on vehicle ensuring customers full understanding and authorisation.
• Understand and adhere to manufacturer service requirements.
• Maintain relevant systems always ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the business.

What our client expects of their Assistant Service Manager:

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Have a good attitude to work at all times.
• Strong organisational Skills
• Ideally 10 years experience within the automotive sector
• Strong customer service skills
• An understanding of Vehicles and common issues
