Assistant Site Manager

Location: South West England, Devon, Exeter

Salary: £35,000 - £48000 per annum

Job Description:

An Award winning and established House Builder are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a traditional new build development in Exeter. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Site Manager in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Job Duties:

• Assist the Site Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction projects
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site
• Manage subcontractors and ensure work is completed on time and within budget
• Monitor and report on project progress to the Site Manager
• Assist in resolving any issues or challenges that arise during construction

Required Qualifications:

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
• CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
• First Aid Certification
• Full UK Driving Licence

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Previous experience in traditional house building for a PLC house builder
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes and techniques
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
