Assistant Site Manager

Red Rock Consultants are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to work in a school I am recruiting for in Eccles, Manchester.

** Please note this position requires an Enhanched DBS.**

Grounds Maintenance:

• Under direction from the Site Manager, ensure the grounds are clean and safe to use, including but not limited to:
• Daily visual checks as grounds are locked
• Emptying external bins
• Removing debris, litter, leaves
• Clearing moss
• Salt spreading and snow clearance
• Regular checks and maintenance of drains and gullies, including clearance of blockages as required
• Lubricating padlocks and gates as required

Under direction from the Site Manager, ensure the grounds are adequately maintained, and are tidy and presentable at all times, including but not limited to:

• Maintenance of lawns
• Maintenance of shrubs, bushes, planters etc
• Maintenance of the pond area
• Maintenance of and marking out astroturf surfaces as required
• Safe application of weedkiller as required
• Maintenance of Monton Road entrance
• Maintenance of all fences, railings and boundary lines including external contractor management as required.

Management of Staff

• Supervise the external cleaners, ensuring that they have the necessary equipment and knowledge to fulfil their role to a high standard.
• Assist with covering staff absences.

Mandatory Training

• Fire marshal and fire warden
• Fire extinguisher
• Working at height
• Legionella awareness
• Manual handling

You may be required to undertake other comparable duties as reasonably required by the Site Manager, Bursar, Health & Safety Lead and/or Headteacher from time to time.

The role is permanent, part time, 26.25 hours per week with the working hours of Monday to Thursday 2:00pm to 7:15pm, Friday 1:15pm to 6:30pm
