Salary: £40,000 per year + car allowance
Job Objectives:
We are currently looking for an Assistant Site Manager based in Manchester to work on a variety of different social housing contracts across Manchester. Your primary responsibility is to provide professional support to the Site Manager in various trade supervisory capacities. You will promote a culture of safety while ensuring the efficient use of company resources to complete contract work on-site. Additionally, you will serve as the main point of contact for tenant communication and management throughout construction projects and social housing refurbishments.
Key Tasks:
- Supervise assigned workstreams on site.
- Ensure the safety of all site personnel.
- Motivate site personnel to meet quality and productivity targets.
- Monitor and document quality control of assigned work areas.
- Interface with client representatives as needed.
- Liaise with site management regarding issues or delays.
- Assist with scheduling and planning of work.
- Support recording of resource levels on site.
- Participate in investigations related to disciplinary or safety incidents.
- Promote employee relations, inclusion, and team working.
- Ensure high levels of customer and client satisfaction.
Person Specification:
- Experience in occupied social housing refurbishment projects.
- CSCS card
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to focus on a team to achieve desired results.
- Customer and tenant-facing, empathetic to concerns.
- Problem management and resolution skills.
