Assistant Site Manager

I am working with an award winning, reputable and established Contractor who specialise in decarbonisation and retrofit works to tenanted Social Housing properties.

The company have experienced a period of extended growth and have been very successful for the past several years. They have a great pipeline of work in place for the year, and have seen their turnover almost double over the course of the last year.

They are recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join them, working on an EWI and Re-Roofing project to tenanted properties in the Chesterfield area.

Working with the Site Manager, your duties will be:

• Ensure continuity of all subcontract works
• Carry out regular safety inspection of all site operations
• Liaise with Site Manager in preparation of materials schedules
• Supervise day to day operations and direct labour
• Maintain daily site records
• Maintain quality control on site and ensure compliance with the specification
• Liaise with Site Manager in preparation of short term programmes
• Attend weekly staff meetings
• Maintain all aspects of the requirements laid down by the Health & Safety Executive and the factory inspectorate, including all reports for the Company Safety/Security Officer
• Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations
• Promote and enhance the company image

The following certificates & experience is essential:

• SMSTS/SSSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
• Social Housing/Retrofit experience

The salary is in the region of £32k + car allowance/van
