We are partnered with a growing SME who are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join the team and support the successful completion of an industrial warehouse project. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a dynamic project and gain valuable experience in the industrial construction sector.
Previous experience on Industrial warehouse projects (sheds) is crucial for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction project
- Assist in coordinating and managing subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Monitor project progress and report any issues to the Site Manager
- Assist in maintaining project documentation and records
- Help to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or project management
- Knowledge of industrial warehouse construction processes and best practices
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proactive and able to take initiative
- Relevant qualifications in construction or project management
