Job Overview:
As a Graduate Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with our experienced team of professionals, gaining valuable hands-on experience and receiving mentorship to develop your skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify any potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Manage and supervise on-site workers, providing clear instructions and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, progress updates, and change orders.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field - Preferably but not essential. A trade background is even more desirable
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, capable of motivating and coordinating teams.
- Knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think on your feet.
