Assistant Store Manager

At Luxe Talent, an international recruitment and training consultancy specializing in fashion, luxury, retail and FMCG, we are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join the team of a globally renowned premium footwear brand, for their brand new store in the heart of London.

In our recruitment and training consultancy, we work with various companies in the Luxury, Premium and High Premium sectors across Europe and have offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Munich and Amsterdam.

The Assistant Store Manager will play a pivotal role in the success of the business, supporting the Store Manager with both front and back of house tasks, as well as leading the team by example and being of a support for their development.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Store Manager :

• Assisting the Store Manager in all areas of daily business operations, human resources, customer service and merchandising
• Coordinating, monitoring and reporting on daily operations
• Recruiting, training and supervising employees
• Managing employee schedules, conducting performance reviews and enforcing disciplinary actions
• Monitoring and maintaining suitable store inventory levels
• Assisting with the development of new sales and recruitment strategies
• Ensuring the store environment complies with health and safety regulations
• Maintaining a clean, organized and aesthetically pleasing store front
• Resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner
• Ensuring that store policies and procedures are followed

Requirements of the Assistant Store Manager:

• Previous retail management experience (min 3 years)
• Experience in training and managing a team
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Able to work in a fast pace environment
• Ability to create a positive working environment
• Attention to detail
• English Fluent or Native, a second language will be a plus
