Salary: £24,910 Basic with realistic OTE £26,000
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth running of the store and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the store.
- Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Train and supervise staff members to ensure that they are meeting performance targets.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that stock is replenished in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Assist with the recruitment and selection of new staff members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
