About the Client:
Our client are specialists in timber frame with a strong track record in housing and they are working along side prestigious, well known new build developers in the UK. They manufacture complete structural platform frames, roof and floor cassettes.
Job Role:
As the Assistant Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Logistics Team are facilitating the accurate and efficient flow of materials and finished goods throughout the facility, whilst maintaining high quality standards, and ensuring all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
Pay and Benefits:
- £17.55 p/h starting salary (£34,345 per annum)
- 37.5 hour working week - Currently stable days Monday - Friday but will require rotating shifts as the company continues to expand

OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Previous experience and knowledge of working within a manufacturing environment.
- Computer literacy, including ERP systems, Microsoft word and excel.
- Numeracy skills for accurate record keeping.
- Attention to detail for the accurate fulfilment of material requests.
- Understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements for material handling.
- Verbal and written communication skills for understanding requests and responding to material requests.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
- Experience of working within manufacturing.
- Experience of inventory control.
- Counterbalance FLT licence
- Combilift FLT licence (Desirable).
- Logistics and Supply Chain management experience.
