Morgan McKinley are currently working with a well known business based in South Bristol who are looking for an Assistant Tax Manager
Morgan McKinley is pleased to be supporting our global client based in South Bristol. They are looking for an Assistant Tax Manager. The ideal Assistant Tax Manager will want to work for a successful, and growing company. This role would require you to do 2 days in the office. You will need to be happy to travel to South Bristol.
This Assistant Tax Manager role is made up of 3 key areas - compliance, reporting and project work. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting with local tax compliance filing obligations
- Supporting the transition of of the corporate tax compliance services to a new provider
- Optimise the R&D and capital allowance positions
- Preparation of corporate tax payment estimates
- Raising payment requests
- Supporting with response to tax audits
- Forecasting of local tax charges for different countries
- Reporting of cash tax
- Improve tax processes
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified or Part qualified (depending on wider experience)
- Background in either practice or industry
- Understanding of different tax territories
- Corporate tax knowledge
The package:
- Salary - £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
- Hybrid working - 2 days in the office
- Study support if required
- 25 days holiday
