Job Overview:
We are excited to offer the opportunity for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner to join an established Theatre teams in Norwich. As part of this role, you will support Registered Theatre Practitioners in delivering safe, high-quality care to all our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the perioperative team in providing exemplary care within the operating suite, including scrub duties for cases within your competence.
Provide skilled assistance to surgeons in the operating theatre within the sterile field.
Ensure a safe, high-quality environment for surgical procedures.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to contribute to service development.
Who We're Looking For:
Understanding of the role of Assistant Practitioner and its contribution to service development.
Experience in an acute environment.
Good literacy skills.
Basic awareness of health, safety, and hygiene.
Flexibility in working within shift duties.
Relevant Assistant Practitioner qualification.
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to lifelong learning.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Awareness of infection control practices.
