An excellent opportunity has become available for an Assistant Town Planner to join an established planning and property company in Leeds. The successful Assistant Town Planner will be working alongside senior staff to help prepare and submit a variety of planning applications within the residential and commercial sectors.
Qualifications:
In this instance applications are sought from candidates with a BSc and ideally an MSc (or equivalent) in an appropriate planning related discipline and membership to the RTPI.
Experience:
Ideally candidates will have some previous practical experience of reviewing or preparing planning applications however full training will be given.
Duties:
- Preparing planning appraisals for land and buildings
- Liaising with clients, planning officers and stakeholders
- Undertaking research
- Preparing and submitting applications
