SalaryA growing, dynamic business based in Central Scotland with an enviable client portfolio has an exciting job opportunity for an Assistant QS / Estimator to work closely with Senior Management.
Key duties include:
- Producing quotations for projects from bills of quantities, specification and drawings_
- Producing quantities from drawings if required.
- Presenting, reporting and advising Senior Management on projects at tender adjudication
- Liaising with Design Team during tendering process as necessary
- On site measures
- Negotiation and agreement of variations
- Preparing Payment Applications
- Procurement
The successful candidate should have:
- A qualification within Quantity Surveying or currently training
- A pro-active and hardworking attitude with an eagerness to learn and develop
- Excellent communication and people skills
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
