Assistant Warehouse Manager

Job Summary

To assist the Warehouse Manager to ensure the warehouse and distribution functions of the business are maintained to ensure standards of quality, accuracy, safety etc are met in a timely manner and appropriate to the needs of the business and meet all legal requirements.

Additional Information: The assistant manager may be required to carry out any warehouse tasks and operations according to the needs of the business.

Assistant Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:

• Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations of the warehouse.
• Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate work.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and operations department.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse processes.
• Assist in conduction regular inventory audits.
• Health and Safety for Heaver Sends.
• Forklift & Flexitruck licence required, training can be given if you have not already got one.

Assistant Warehouse Manager Skills:

• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Excelled organisation and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems and software.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
