Associate Architect (Office Lead)

Bennett and Game have the pleasure of working with our client, a multidisciplinary consultancy with an international presentence, on a vacancy for an Associate Architect who will be working as the Office Lead. They are a forward-thinking company with a drive for employee progression and success.

The most successful Associate Architect is going to have strong communicative and managerial skills, not only supporting with the design side of a projects, also taking on the responsibility managing the residential team, alongside taking on admin aspects (including invoicing, allocation annual leave, dealing with staff absences and supporting with developing business). Our client are open minded in their search however are keen to speak with candidates who are skilled/ proficient with Revit software. Ideally, they are looking for candidates that have had exposure within numerous sectors such as Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Mixed use, Multi sector. You will be working in a fast paced environment with the benefit of controlling your hours. Associate ArchitectPosition Remuneration

• Competitive Salary ( 45,000 - 55,000)
• Standard 8.30am - 5:30pm (flexible on start/finish times)

Associate Architect Position Overview

• Responsible for leading and delivering designs for current and future projects
• Overseeing and coordinating the delivery of projects assigned to delivery teams based
• Managing and supporting the Residential team
• Assisting with the preparation bids and tender responses
• Develop / maintain new and existing relationships and clients
• Become responsible for overseeing the running of the Residential team within the Newcastle Studio on a day to day basis
• Responsible for growing business

Associate Architect Position Requirements

• Confident in a client facing role
• Motivated individual who is keen to progress further
• Ideally RIBA Chartered Architect or Chartered Technologist
• Happy commuting to Newcastle as well as other offices on occasion
• Good Design/technical skills
• Experience of managing staff
• Confident and happy to take on managerial, design and admin responsibilities (including invoicing, allocation annual leave, dealing with staff absences and supporting with developing business)
• Revit / BIM knowledge advantageous but not essential
